      The B. subtilis bacteriophage phi3T employs the AimR-AimP QS system to make the lysis-lysogeny decision. The left part of the figure shows some gene homologues to AimR, a 43aa long pre-pro-peptide (the last ones are SAIRGA = Ser-Ala-Ile-Arg-Gly-Ala); their last aa are different, like SASRGA or GMPRGA. The right part of the figure shows the percent of each possibility in a list of 112 gene homologues to AimR.
